Preparing believers in Jesus Christ for Christian ministry since 1937

Work, Vocation, Calling – Christ and Culture Seminar 2017

by , filed under Events, News

“Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ”

Colossians 3:23-24

We will be exploring a biblical theology of work; what it means to be fruitful in our vocations and callings, how to work for the good of the city, and a biblical answer to poverty. We glorify God not only through the ministry of the Word, but also through vocations of carpentry, plumbing, agriculture, architecture, art, business, government, journalism, and scholarship for the furtherance of the public good, as we are called to do our work with distinctiveness, excellence, and accountability in all trades and professions.

Everyone is welcome.

Date and Time: November 11, 9:00am – 12:45pm
