TO: Students, Faculty and Staff of Faith Theological Seminary

Greetings! It is with great joy to announce GOD’s New Thing For Faith – a partnership with Grace Bible Baptist Church which will allow for the relocation of FAITH to a new, expanded campus!!

If you come to our building on Thursdays, there are no parking spaces and students have had to park their cars on Walker Avenue or have hiked from the nearby shopping center. Last June at our 82nd graduation ceremony, it was clear that our current location is bursting at the seams.

In order to take the next step in our growth as a leading institution for Seminary studies in Maryland, we needed to provide more amenities than our current facility can offer. As a Seminary, we have to compete in the educational marketplace for students and faculty. One of the factors leading to a choice of educational institution for potential students is the campus itself.

Chapel on new campus

GOD has met the need of FAITH by providing a new campus!!

The Catonsville campus includes amenities such as a designated Chapel area, a library building, 8 classrooms with audio/visual capability, access to a full gymnasium, direct access to MTA bus line, and plenty of parking for students, faculty and staff. The new FAITH location will be the most comprehensive Seminary campus in the State of Maryland including being fully ADA compliant. It will take the excellent Biblical teaching of FAITH and put it in a new and fresh environment to draw more students to the excellent Seminary education we offer. The new FAITH campus will begin to hold classes in the Fall 2020 semester.

FAITH will remain an independent, non-denominational Seminary focused on teaching the Word of God and to promote the testimony of Jesus Christ!

Founders Library – Classroom for Doctoral Seminars!

In addition to the new campus coming in the Fall of 2020, FAITH is making other moves to make better use of the God given talents of our staff. The Board of Directors have named our own Dr. Jerry Harmon as the next President of FTS beginning June 1, 2020. Our beloved President, Dr. Norman Manohar will serve as the first Provost of FTS. It is an exciting time to be part of the Seminary as God moves us into a new level of growth and opportunity.

We know GOD’s New Thing for Faith has a purpose – to provide a way in the wilderness, waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. To rewnew and to ignite a revival in Baltimore!

One of the many inviting classrooms!

Isaiah 43:19-21 (KJV) reads,

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

FAITH’s new campus will allow FTS to shape the ministries of future students of Baltimore and its surrounding counties for years to come. GOD has formed FAITH for HIMSELF to show forth HIS praise.

Beautiful sanctuary – site of the 83rd Graduation Ceremony of FTS, May 2020!!

We welcome the challenge and we praise GOD for HIS goodness!!

Prayerfully,

Dr. Robert J. Anderson, Jr.
Chairman of the Board
